Who we are

GEMINI G.P. manages three private holiday villas with pools in Theologos, Rhodes, Greece.

Data we collect

Through this website we collect only the information you choose to give us in the contact form:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Preferred villa, check-in/out dates and number of guests
• Any special requests or notes you include in your message

We do not collect payment information, as we do not process bookings or payments through this website.

Newsletter

We may offer an optional newsletter signup in the future. If you subscribe, we will collect and store your email address for the sole purpose of sending occasional updates, offers and travel inspiration. Subscription is consent-based (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you may withdraw consent at any time. We will never share your email with third parties.

Why we process your data

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your stay enquiry – checking availability, answering your questions and providing a booking proposal.

The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries from potential guests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). By sending us the contact form, you reasonably expect us to use that information to respond to you.

How long we keep data

Contact form enquiries are stored for a maximum of 12 months after your last correspondence, after which they are permanently deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Who sees your data

Your enquiry is read by us, the owners of Gemini Villas, and by the company that manages the villas on our behalf and replies to enquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it with anyone for their own use. No automated decisions or profiling are performed.

Enquiries reach us by email through Brevo, our email delivery provider, which handles them only on our behalf.

Google Maps

The map on our contact page is provided by Google. It loads only when you scroll down to it, and your browser then connects directly to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and standard technical information about your browser. The map sets no cookies and does not use your browser's local storage. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in helping guests find the villas (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Google processes this information as an independent controller and may do so in the United States, where Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Links in the map, such as 'Get directions', take you to Google's own website, where Google's cookie policy applies.

Security camera

One camera records the parking area in front of the villas, to help prevent, and if needed investigate, damage or theft. It covers the parking area only, not the villas, their gates or their pool terraces. Recordings are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically, unless they are needed for a specific incident, such as a report to the police. Only the owners can view them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of the property (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and the rights listed below apply to recordings too.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr.

Cookie policy

Our website uses cookies and similar local storage – small pieces of data placed on your device – for the following purposes:

Essential session cookies are always active – they are required for the contact form to function securely and do not track you.

This website is served through Cloudflare, a security and content delivery network. When you pass its security check, Cloudflare sets the cf_clearance security cookie listed above to protect the website from bots and attacks. This cookie is strictly necessary and is never used for tracking or advertising.

Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode: the script loads for every visitor in a denied state and sets no cookies until you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored and only cookieless, aggregated measurement signals are sent.

The Google map on our contact page sets no cookies.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the 'Cookie settings' button in the footer of every page. When you withdraw consent, any analytics cookies that were already set are deleted immediately.

You can disable cookies entirely through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
